Jia Apple is a lifelong artist, published author, and business owner currently residing in Colorado. She is a native of Indiana and is the eighth born of ten children, a mother, and a grandmother. Jia is a speaker and workshop leader for The Compassionate Friends (TCF), the founder of The Megan Jean Hope Foundation, and is passionate about helping women and children in need.
Current Projects
I am working on an Autumn, 2025 gallery show scheduled at the Rio Bravo Fine Art Gallery in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, USA. The working title of my show is Flight.
Women Weave the World is a campaign to cultivate unity. I am proud to be actively involved in this organized effort to support women and women leaders. Initiated around a historic collection of baskets, woven over centuries by Apache women.
